whiteworm culture/Micro farm
The 8 0z White worm Micro farm / culture will be made upon ordering basically a (starter culture). It will contain roughly a 4 0z. portion of worms and soil from one of my mature "mother cultures" along with roughly 4 0z. of new soil / peat moss mix and they can be maintained in the micro farm they come in until it's time to split the culture. They are a great food source for your fish and amphibians.
Whiteworm micro farm care instructions
All of my Whiteworm micro farms REQUIRE being kept cool between 55-68 degrees Fahrenheit. I keep my micro farms in a Wine Cooler set at 55 degrees. The container you receive is the "micro farm" I have been growing them in. There are multiple foods they will eat. My preferred food for them due to the number of containers i have to feed is a flatbread which you cut just smaller than the included piece of plastic mesh.
1-Place bread on mesh.
2- spread thin layer of plain yogurt on the bread.
3-sprinkle with nutritional yeast flakes.
4- place yogurt side onto soil with mesh on top
As the worms eat the food they will crawl onto the mesh which you can just lift off the food and dip into your fish tank and watch your fish enjoy ! There are many foods you can feed them , this is just my preferred method.
