Don is awesome - you will get extremely healthy fish and the best customer service. He was very attentive in making sure the fish got here safely. He's always been more than wiling to answer my questions about these guys, which is amazing since there is little knowledge out there about this species.
Ensure you do your research about these guys - live foods are a must! They eat very well, but only if the food is moving.
Mine were timid for a few days, and now come out to say hi and check me out very frequently. They are a very "deliberate" and "thoughtful" fish; you'll see them thinking before eating, before swimming closer to check you out, etc. Mine prefer low to mid-water swimming, though I have one brave male who swims in the middle to upper water column.
An awesome fish for those who will be patient to let them come out of their shell. Males color up beautifully to show off to the ladies, but even when not colored up, there are a beautiful dark, mottled brown with hints of iridescent blue.
The fish arrived very well packaged and healthy! They are gorgeous additions to my fish collection!
